You will be an ambassador for the brand and product lines by effectively communicating the features and benefits of all our products and solutions.
Become the voice of our customers within the business
As our new Coating Advisor, you’ll be on the ground advising customers (applications and end-users) on proper use and application of our technologies and coating systems following current regulations. You'll also be actively involved in looking after, supporting and developing client relationships.
At the same time, you’ll provide technical field support to customers and our sales organization, identify customers' challenges with coating processes and seek opportunities to promote Hempel solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Inspection and support on all aspects of our technologies, to ensure that all applications are following our product data sheets, working specifications, relevant technical and industrial standards, working procedures, and best painting/application practices
- Generate technical reports on projects and distribute them in a timely manner to our customers
- Actively support internal and external services strategy activities.
We’re looking for a technical professional to join our team
As our ideal candidate you are able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders on a project and to demonstrate persuasiveness and assertiveness when needed.
Additionally, you should also have:
- Knowledge of the paint sector
- Degree or equivalent in chemistry, engineering, would be valuable but not essential
- Proven experience as technical service coating advisor is a plus
- FROSIO / NACE II certification required in Marine, Energy and/or infrastructure segments is a plus
- Computer skills (MS programs)
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Valid driving license
- Advising, interview, and social skills
- Written and spoken English
