Job Summary:
The Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will design, implement, support and optimize enterprise IT Infrastructure & Cloud solutions for Algosystems’ customers, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments

Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure and support enterprise IT Infrastructure, Cloud and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
- Support complex customer environments, projects and Managed Services, ensuring availability, performance, security and SLA compliance.
- Perform cloud deployments, migrations, upgrades, integrations, optimization and technical problem resolution.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, configurations, implementation plans and operational procedures.
- Act as a senior technical escalation point, supporting engineering teams and resolving complex infrastructure and cloud issues.
- Collaborate with architects, project teams, vendors and customers throughout solution design, implementation, migration and transition to operations.
- Maintain and continuously develop technical expertise and relevant cloud and vendor certifications.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems and/or Cloud technologies.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, compute, storage, backup and related services.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Purview, Intune, SharePoint, Teams), Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory and hybrid Microsoft environments.
- Good knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in cloud migration, modernization, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS and multi-cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Experience implementing and supporting solutions in large and complex enterprise customer environments.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure and other cloud/vendor certifications are highly desirable.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.

Skills Required
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud, systems, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory
- Proven experience in hybrid Microsoft environments integrating cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Experience with Microsoft Defender technologies
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with Exchange Online and Exchange Server or Hybrid Exchange environments
- Experience with on-premises to Azure and Microsoft 365 migration projects
- Understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, VPN connectivity, DNS, and network security
- Experience with PowerShell and automation
- Understanding of identity, access management, and security principles within Microsoft environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to independently own technical implementations and complex customer environments
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
