As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for leading cloud-related projects, maintaining existing environments, and ensuring best practices in configuration, performance, security, and reliability. - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS)
- Lead cloud migration and optimization projects
- Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and improve cloud performance, availability, and security
- Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient and effective solutions
- Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
Skills and Experience
- Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
- Proven hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and support
- Strong Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of monitoring and automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Previous experience in a senior or lead engineering role is desirable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, IT-related preferred, more than five (5) years of experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience architecting and administering cloud projects
- 3+ years of hands-on experience migrating and assisting others to migrate from on premises systems to cloud environments
- Cloud certification(s) – Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or similar
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in English
