Job Description

You will help maintain and secure Azure Government and Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High environments that support critical business operations, identity services, cloud networking, and cybersecurity functions.

Your role:

  • You will administer and support Azure Government and Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High services, helping ensure reliable, secure, and compliant cloud operations.
  • You will manage Microsoft Entra ID identity and access services, including authentication, authorization, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • You will support cloud networking and application delivery services, including Azure Firewall, Azure Domain Name System (DNS), Azure Front Door, and Web Application Firewall technologies.
  • You will investigate and respond to security events using Microsoft Defender technologies, perform vulnerability remediation, and support incident response activities.
  • You will troubleshoot complex production issues, automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure Playbooks, and contribute to continuous improvement of service reliability and security.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud operations, systems administration, or cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration in production environments.
  • Your skills include Microsoft Entra ID, identity and access management, cloud networking, firewall administration, security operations, PowerShell automation, and root cause analysis.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Security Operations Analyst (SC-200), or Security+ are valued.
  • Bonus experience includes Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Intune, cloud-managed Windows endpoints, vulnerability management programs, and regulated environments aligned to CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or FedRAMP requirements.
  • You are a collaborative problem solver with strong communication skills who can effectively support operational, security, audit, and incident response activities; this role may require participation in after-hours support and incident response events.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $123,000 to $195,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. 

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN.
