JOB SUMMARY
Sr Cloud Windows Engineer is responsible for deploying & maintaining cloud infrastructure with reliability, performance, and security on our multi-cloud platform. This individual should have analytical & technical abilities for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues on Trinet’s infrastructure. Other key role responsibilities include developing infrastructure enhancements, facilitating POCs, deployments/upgrades, and managing ongoing tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to create Windows servers and manage application deployments
- Design, Build & Test windows server golden images across various platforms
- Remediate Windows OS security vulnerabilities & patch management
- Maintain and troubleshoot windows backup/restore platform
- Provide support to cloud compute, network and storage administration for Windows
- Maintain and support windows file share structure, workgroups and payroll printing infrastructures
- Strong Windows OS troubleshooting experience for cloud infrastructure
- Exposure to security concepts and best practices
Skills:
- Experience with System Administration with recent Microsoft Windows Server & associated technologies
- Experience in managing AWS and OCI cloud environments
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Scripting experience a plus (e.g., Ansible, AWS-CLI, Python, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, GPO, ADSedit highly desired
- Experience with windows troubleshooting tools & good understanding of SCCM/MECM is required
- Experience with ITIL processes and Real-world change management
- Experience managing Windows servers in AWS, OCI or other cloud providers
- Good knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI) and experience with cloud services & cloud deployments
- Experience in Networking technologies like DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP & Load Balancing and troubleshooting network related issues
- Strong background in hypervisor technologies (VMware, OpenStack/MCP)
- Diagnose and ability to troubleshoot highly stressful issues
- Ability to collaborate with other teams on projects and troubleshooting critical issues
- Excellent communication skills & a motivated team player with critical thinking and ability to predict trends
- Cloud certifications preferred
