Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000

The Cloud Engineer will support the Army Next Generation Command and Control mission at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland. This project requires a TS/SCI clearance and is a full-time onsite position at that location within SCIF. The cloud engineer will collaborate with data engineers, systems integration engineers and other cloud platform engineers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support existing Cloud capabilities on a commercial and edge-based cloud
- Design and support services for authorization, authentication, CICD pipelines
- Deign and operate services for continuous ATO
- Integrate and operate services with 3rd party vendors including Anduril and Palantir
- Optimize code for high availability in edge computing and data mesh operations
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience with AWS or similar
- Experience with highly scalable microservice ecosystems
- Experience with edge-deployed services.
- High bandwidth APIs and data ingest
- Strong interpersonal skills for working within a broad technical team and with customers
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
- Ability to build & optimize build pipelines
Desired Experience
- Experience with Anduril and Palantir data mesh APIs.
- Security + Certification
