Roles and Responsibilities:
- Write and edit cloudformation / terraform templates, automation for configurations and deployment of applications
- Maintain industry best practices with security and compliance in mind
- Interact with multiple teams to collaborate and carry out projects
- Adapt to new tools and resources needed for projects
- Understand networking components and gateways
- Use terraform modules and scripts for IaC
- Working with the engineering and development teams to evaluate and determine the best cloud options.
- Altering and enhancing current systems.
- Educating teams on the application of fresh cloud efforts and technology.
- Designing, creating and implementing modular cloud-based applications.
- Using best practices for creating and maintaining cloud systems.
- Ensuring that data processing and storage operations are done effectively and in compliance with corporate security guidelines.
- Identifying, evaluating, and fixing infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment problems with applications.
- Regularly assessing current systems and recommending improvements.
- Interacting with clients, giving cloud support, and delivering guidance in accordance with customer needs.
Must Have Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering.
- 3+ years experience using AWS/GCP environment.
- 3+ years experience with terraform.
- Hands on implementation experience in AWS control tower and Landing Zone.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Go.
- Ansible / Terraform knowledge.
- Understanding of software and database concepts, such as managing large applications and troubleshooting issues.
- Networking skills, such as knowing the basics of cloud infrastructure and data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of networking components.
- Experience writing and editing CloudFormation templates .
- Experience writing and editing IAM policies and roles.
Good to have
- Experience of integrating and debugging cloud solution with android clients
- Experience with agile development, Jira & Git
Education:
BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
