As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer, you’ll lead the design and delivery of cloud-native data solutions for complex global clients. You’ll collaborate with data architects and solution designers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance data environments that power advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for those ready to take ownership and mentor others while staying close to the technology.
YOUR MISSION
• Architect, design, and implement large-scale cloud data solutions and integrations across multiple data sources and platforms
• Lead technical development of modern data pipelines, ensuring scalability, performance, and best-practice alignment
• Define data models, standards, and automation frameworks for cloud analytics ecosystems
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into optimized cloud solutions
• Ensure data quality and governance, applying DevOps and CI/CD principles to data delivery
• Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and drive innovation within the team
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in cloud, big data, and AI to continuously evolve the platform landscape
WHO YOU ARE
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, or advanced analytics delivery
• Strong expertise with one or more cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform — and related data services
• Proficient with big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, BigQuery) and ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Data Factory, Glue, dbt)
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data engineering and automation
• Strong grasp of data architecture, performance tuning, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and collaborate across distributed teams
• English proficiency (B2 or higher); German language knowledge is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field
Nice to have:
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Business Objects)

Accenture offers a competitive compensation package. As required by the Slovak law we state that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay starting from 2 750€ depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the required areas.
