Our Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Platform department is responsible for designing and developing solutions, including infrastructure, Cloud, security, integration, and test of the solutions according to existing strategies, principles and standard methodologies to meet the organisation’s current and future business needs.

Currently we are looking for Senior Cloud Architect to design and implement solutions with the focus on security, reduced complexity, cost efficiencies, reduced risk, and business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architecture activities for new product and technology activities

• Translate business requirements into a technical solution and support the deployment of new/enhanced functionalities

• Deliver on the Cyber Security strategy across the domains

• Governance over Microsoft Azure infrastructure

• Document solutions and projects implementations

• Assist in aligning and driving infrastructure teams and application owners to design applications that meet security standards

• Study and analyse system’s needs, development, and processes

• Promote the Digital strategy and standards towards employees and stakeholders within and outside Digital department

• Keep updated with technological developments and applications

• Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment

Qualifications

• 5 + years of proven experience in Azure Cloud and infrastructure deployment

• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of Azure services and security features

• Ability to design end-to-end solutions that align with business requirements, leveraging Azure services and adhering to best practices for scalability, availability, performance, and security

• Proficiency in architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, event-driven, and multi-tier architectures, and knowing when to apply each based-on project needs

• Experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure services

• Expertise in Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, and Traffic Manager

• Proficiency in using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform to define and deploy infrastructure

• Knowledge of integrating DevOps practices into solution architecture using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation

• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
