Senior Cloud Administrator
We seek an experienced, professional Sr. Cloud Administrator to join our Pune, India office. This role is responsible for deploying and administering a cloud-based computing platform within ZS.
What You'll Do: As an Sr. Cloud Administrator in the Enterprise you will -
- Manage end-to-end Salesforce deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using SFDX CLI with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Work with Salesforce deployment tools such as Copado and Gearset.
- Manage release planning, deployment execution, release notes, approvals, and post-release validation.
- Define and support branching strategies including feature, release, hotfix, and main branches.
- Implement quality gates such as validation deployments, Apex test execution, code coverage checks, and static code analysis.
- Support rollback planning, deployment recovery, and production issue resolution.
- Manage back sync activities to ensure production changes are aligned with lower environments and source branches.
- Support Salesforce backup and recovery processes before major releases.
- Plan and execute sandbox refreshes and post-refresh activities.
- Support sandbox seeding and test data preparation for QA and UAT.
- Ensure data masking and data privacy controls are applied in lower environments.
- Maintain metadata consistency across Salesforce environments.
- Support multi-country Salesforce implementations with country-specific configurations and release dependencies.
- Ensure security and compliance considerations are followed during deployments.
- Maintain DevOps documentation, release checklists, rollback plans, and environment governance standards.
Required Skills
- 3-6 years of Salesforce experience with strong focus on DevOps and Release Management.
- Hands-on experience with SFDX CLI and Metadata-based Salesforce deployments.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Copado and/or Gearset.
- Strong understanding of Git version control and branching strategy.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce Admin concepts including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, objects, fields, flows, and validation rules.
- Experience managing Salesforce releases across multiple environments.
- Experience with rollback, back sync, backup, sandbox refresh, sandbox seeding, and data masking.
- Understanding of Salesforce security model and deployment governance.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Experience working on multi-country Salesforce implementations.
- Fluency in English
