We work with major sports and events rights holders, brand sponsors, teams, leagues, venues, and talent to create unique sponsorship marketing platforms, content, experiences, and brand activations that engage fans and drive business and brand outcomes.We are part of Dentsu Sports International, a global sports network comprising MKTG Sports & Entertainment, dentsu Sports Analytics, and dentsu Sports.We’re hiring for a Senior Client Manager as part of our Sponsorship & Consultancy Team in Singapore.Purpose of the RoleAs Senior Client Manager of sponsorships and partnerships, you’ll work on delivering and implementing some of the most exciting collaborations within the sports and entertainment industry. You’ll be responsible for leading and managing APAC client relationships, activation plans, projects, and the client servicing team across major regional and global sports sponsorships and partnerships.You’ll provide support and assistance in managing the client’s business and ensuring day-to-day activities run smoothly. This includes supporting the wider team in account delivery, managing team capabilities, and ensuring on-time delivery and excellence in execution.Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership and accountability for client/account fees and activation budgets, with a strong understanding and reporting of client commercials.
  • Act as the communication bridge between the regional client sponsorship team, the client’s regional marketing team, and key sports partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client partners who hold pass-through rights at a regional level, managing relationships, addressing partner concerns, ensuring adherence to promotional guidelines, and helping partners maximise their rights effectively.
  • Oversee and direct the client team to effectively manage retained and project work including event planning, on-ground activations, branding, merchandise, social content, PR, ambassador programmes, and asset management.
  • Support Directors in managing resources and workloads across designated projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of timesheets.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities by participating in proposals, pitches, and identifying growth potential with existing and new clients.
  • Participate in thought leadership through written content, presentations, or webinars, and represent the agency in industry forums.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience working within the sports and entertainment industry, specifically Formula 1 is essential for this role.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in marketing either agency-side, client-side, or with a rights holder ,focused on sports sponsorships and activation programs.
  • Strong technical knowledge of sponsorship and partnership marketing, with attention to detail and a drive for excellence in execution.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop campaigns, activations, and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Enjoys managing projects and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
  • Provides strategic counsel to clients and partners, delivering best-in-class solutions and service excellence.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to evaluate sponsorship performance to drive measurable impact.
