As a Sr Channel Sales Representative (Flame and Gas Detection) at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and market growth for our Flame and Gas Detection in Malaysia. 

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to support our customers' gas detection needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the gas detection product line in the Thailand region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, customers, understanding their gas detection needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product demonstrations, training, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding, order processing, and support.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • This role may require occasional travel, depending on project needs.

Qualifications

  • Educational: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / business / marketing
  • Technical Background: A technical background is beneficial given the nature of gas detection equipment, though not required. Full training will be provided.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial for interacting with customers and presenting information. 
  • Analytical & Negotiation Skills: The ability to analyse customer needs and negotiate effectively is vital for closing sales.
  • Technical Aptitude: A willingness to learn about gas detector technology, hazards, and maintenance is essential for providing accurate solutions to customers.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications is generally expected.
  • Soft Skills: A pleasant personality, a positive outlook, initiative, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are highly valued
