What you will do:  

As a Senior Category Manager on our Supply Chain Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in powering the success of our capital projects.  You will lead strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives that directly impact the delivery of large-scale projects critical to our growth. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Design and execute sourcing strategies that elevate supplier quality, reduce total cost, and improve delivery timelines while mitigating risk and advancing ESG goals. 
  • Drive RFI/RFQ/RFP activities for high-impact project materials and services, creating SOPs for supplier selection and collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure the best partners. 
  • Manage complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure contracts deliver maximum value and protect organizational interests. 
  • Take ownership of Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs for your categories, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation. 
  •  Provide category insights and market intelligence to project teams, enabling informed decisions that keep projects on time and on budget. 
  •  Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and risk reduction strategies  
  • Align procurement activities with project goals and timelines, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor   

What we need you to bring to the team:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 8+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles 
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale capital projects under tight deadlines and milestones. 
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking to identify cost optimization opportunities. 
  • Proficiency in procurement technologies and ERP systems for process innovation. 
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity. 
  • Recognized expertise in category management and enterprise-level initiatives. 
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence without direct authority. 

What we want you to bring to the team:   

  • 10+ years in procurement or supply chain roles with a focus on projects 
  • Previous start-up experience a plus. 

Compensation:   

  • The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $100,000-$128,000 and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
