Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior C++ Networking Subject Matter Expert to join a global engineering team responsible for building and evolving next-generation high-performance networking and communication infrastructure.
This role focuses on modern C++ development, low-latency networking, distributed systems, and reusable platform capabilities used across large-scale enterprise environments. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of core networking libraries, help shape technical strategy, and collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and application engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ networking libraries and frameworks.
- Define and drive technical direction for reusable networking and communication capabilities.
- Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies for future platform adoption.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure robust platform integration.
- Identify technology gaps and recommend scalable, practical solutions that enhance performance, resilience, and developer productivity.
- Partner with application development teams to gather requirements and support successful adoption of platform capabilities.
- Analyze and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain and enhance existing C++ platform components and shared libraries.
- Champion engineering best practices across the broader C++ development community.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience in modern C++ development.Deep understanding of distributed systems and low-latency architecture design.Strong expertise in networking technologies including:
- TCP/IP
- HTTP / HTTPS
- TLS / mTLS
- Connection management
- Load balancing
- Service discovery
- Network resiliency patterns
- Strong Linux systems knowledge.Experience designing and developing reusable libraries, frameworks, or platform components.Advanced debugging, profiling, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
