What Are You Going to Do?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Developer with a minimum of 10 years of development experience. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of C++ programming, along with a strong background in relevant libraries and frameworks. You will be responsible for performing requirement analysis, designing software solutions, coding, and establishing high-quality test cases. The development work will be focused on an existing software package, which includes both the enhancement and maintenance of existing components. You will collaborate with an international multi-cultural team, contributing to diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement analysis and translate them into detailed design specifications for enhancements to the existing software package.
- Design and implement robust C++ applications using stdc++, Boost, OpenSSL3, and libcurl, targeted for MS Windows and Linux systems.
- Ensure that the software runs efficiently on bare metal, virtual machines, and containers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Develop unit test cases to ensure code quality and functionality of both new and existing features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write functional tests and validate software performance.
- Document design and development processes in Confluence to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Utilize Git workflows for version control and collaboration within the development team.
- Manage project tasks using the Jira ticketing system to track progress and maintain timelines.
- Troubleshoot reported problems and devise solutions to enhance the software's reliability and performance.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments in a multi-cultural environment.
What Do We Expect?
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in C++ development.
- Proficiency in using stdc++, Boost, OpenSSL3, and libcurl libraries.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows for version control.
- Knowledge in using Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket or similar toolsets.
- Familiarity with the Jira ticketing system for project management.
- Experience documenting software design and processes in Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills are mandatory.
- Experience troubleshooting reported problems and implementing effective solutions.
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in software architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with qTest for test management.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems.
- Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of X.509 certificate usage and trust chains.
- Understanding of remote procedure protocols (e.g. gRPC)
