The position is located in Espoo (Helsinki), Finland or Budapest, Hungary.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and supporting Tuxera's Fusion applications
- Work closely with the Product Manager to define and execute the product roadmap, designing and implementing new features that enhance usability and reliability.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, DevOps, and technical support teams to meet customer expectations and ensure seamless product delivery.
Background and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in C
- Experience in Linux user-space programming, including Libc and POSIX APIs
- Strong expertise or familiarity with developing network communication protocols is preferred but not required. Experience with SMB or NFS protocols is a plus
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including packet structure and low-level network communication
- Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to solve complex problems
- Solid knowledge of coding principles and development workflows
- Hands-on experience working in an agile environment
- Familiarity with network diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Understanding of network protocols, including but not limited to Windows AD (Active Directory), LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, and UDP
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Good team player skills, including communication and cooperation abilities
- Experience with scripting languages for automation is a plus
- Kernel-space programming is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and container technologies is a plus
