Senior C++/C# Software Engineer

Infovisa, Inc. is looking for a senior level Software Engineer to join our team in our office in Centennial, Colorado. We are looking for a technically strong engineer with strong leadership skills to expand and maintain our flagship client server accounting product built to work on Windows.
Individual contributions are seen and recognized at Infovisa. You will be involved in all levels of the software development life cycle. Each team member is required to wear many hats and wear them well.

We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our team, with the potential to grow into a leadership role over time. The right candidate will have the skills and ambition to eventually step into a team leader position.

Successful candidates will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Enjoy solving problems.
• Want to work full time in the office, collaborating with and potentially leading team members.
• Have 5+ years of meaningful job experience using C++ or C#.
• Embrace the use of AI to improve code quality and productivity.
• Enjoy working in C++. Most of our new development is written in C# and .NET, but we have a very large legacy code base written in C++ that will not be going away.
• Be creative and interested in all tiers of software development, from backend interfaces to user experience.
• Be flexible and adapt well to change. Our customers come first. What we are working on is subject to interruption.
• Be able to maintain focus and complete tasks with minimum oversight.
• Enjoy being visible and taking responsibility.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of finance fundamentals and possess a genuine interest in learning more about the business domain. Our developers design quality software because we know and understand our users and their business processes and needs.
• Have strong communication skills, easily communicating with customers or team members who are not engineers.
• Recognize and identify potential risks. Able to identify, evaluate, and present options to mitigate risk.
• Think big picture while also seeing and taking care of the details.
• Recognize, identify, and act upon opportunities for improvements.
• Collaborate directly with customers as required, gathering user requirements and translating those requirements into action items.
• Possess the desire to make an immediate and positive impact on our development team, our company, and our clients.

What We Offer

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum: $100,000 Salary Maximum:$150,000. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Infovisa's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and a profit sharing plan. In addition, Infovisa provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays (10+ days) and paid time off (PTO).
