We turn data into a competitive force multiplier by providing the transparent, objective insights needed to optimize our commercial and medical strategies.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Business Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Measurement & Optimization ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced data science methodologies, business strategy, and digital product building.

You will move the organization from fragmented, manual performance reporting into a unified, automated product suite that provides real-time attribution, ROI transparency, and predictive optimization capabilities. You will be the business product owner for the measurement products within your remit.

  • Standardization: Establish business standards, measurement templates, and unified KPIs across therapeutic areas to ensure a "single version of the truth" for the enterprise.

  • Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee and own the full product lifecycle, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and feature rollouts, ensuring products meet internal standards for user experience (UX) and data integrity.

  • Optimization & Experimentation: Drive a learning agenda through product experimentation (e.g., A/B testing frameworks) to continuously improve the accuracy and actionability of measurement insights.

  • Compliance: Ensure all measurement products and data practices comply with the laws, regulations, and policies governing Genentech activities.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, operations, science, or a quantitative field.

  • 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical analytics, measurement, or performance management across multiple therapeutic areas and/or software engineering experience.

  • Product Management Expertise: Proven experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role, taking an analytical or digital product through its full lifecycle (ideation to launch).

  • Digital Native: Deep understanding of digital paid media channels and marketing campaign design and implementation

  • Measurement Mastery: Deep understanding of how to articulate business problems and identify measurement solutions (Attribution, ROI, and Equivalence Modeling).

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Proven success in aligning cross-functional stakeholders and the ability to "push back" on requests that are misaligned with corporate objectives.

  • Agile Fluency: Experience working in an Agile setting, managing product backlogs, and coordinating with technical IT/Data teams.

  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to evangelize the "Product Vision" to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced Degree: MBA, MS in Business Analytics, or related graduate-level qualification.
