The Role

Overview

The Business Intelligence Sr Manager is the primary architect of the commercial organization’s most critical analytical framework including provider conversion playbooks, churn predictive modeling, and lifecycle health assessments, and more. This individual is a key strategic partner, providing the fact-based insights necessary to solve advanced commercial challenges, support organization growth, and drive both high-level decision-making and precise tactical execution.

 

This role requires a blend of expert technical analytical skills with attention to accuracy and the ability to synthesize those details into broad commercial strategy. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding provider behavior, solving non-linear business problems (such as defining the "ideal path" to product adoption), and simplifying complex data into persuasive narratives for senior management. This role regularly with Senior Leadership across the commercial organization and works in lockstep with Commercial Operations functions. This individual is expected to serve as a high-level strategic leader and a technical mentor to more junior analysts across the team.

 

Responsibility

  1. Framework Architecture: Design end-to-end analytical frameworks to assess provider lifecycle stages, from initial registration to "Super User" status.
  2. Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Commercial Operations to embed your findings directly into sales workflows, decision making forums and sales incentive structures.
  3. Advanced Modeling: Utilize statistical techniques to identify the "leading contributors" to churn, differentiating between seasonal noise and structural issues.
  4. Executive Translation: Prepare and present high-stakes narratives for the senior management, turning complex data sets into simple, persuasive strategic recommendations.

 

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree required; preferably in business, marketing, data science, management information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  2. 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years of experience in business analytics, forecasting, strategic insights, commercial insights, or a related field; experience in a downstream capacity preferred.
  3. Expert proficiency and experience in analytic and quantitative modeling and data visualization using Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint or Data Visualization Platform (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc) required.
  4. Advanced proficiency and experience in database development, database management, and data mining using tools such as Snowflake, Python, and R.
  5. Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  6. Experience applying descriptive and inferential statistical principles (variance, standard deviation, regression, etc.) to interpret sample data.
  7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and to articulate complex findings in a clear, understandable way to various stakeholders.
  9. Ability to identify key business information needs in collaboration with partners.
  10. Ability to partner and engage across functions and with individuals and teams with varying familiarity of market insights data.
  11. Strong communication/presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  12. Ability to effectively and efficiently balance multiple deliverables to meet deadlines with high quality analyses and conclusions.
  13. Ability to teach and mentor other team members.

 

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements – light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
