Position Summary:

As a Sales Representative at our firm, you'll embody an entrepreneurial approach, expertly guiding first-time fund managers through the sales journey with our financial software solutions. Your role will be to uncover and understand client needs, advocating for our products while driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting and skillful negotiation. This position demands a proactive mindset, as you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire sales cycle—from generating leads to closing deals—ensuring our clients receive tailored, impactful solutions that underscore our commitment as a market leader.

  • Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to the successful closing of deals, taking full ownership of the process. 
  • Craft and execute a strategic sales plan, aiming for consistent achievement of both immediate and long-range sales goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by employing strategic outbound prospecting and nurturing leads to successful conversions.
  • Communicate effectively the business impact of our software solutions, ensuring first-time fund managers and key decision makers understand their value.
  • Gain a deep understanding of client requirements to become a trusted business advisor within the financial software domain.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to identify customer pain points, aligning our solutions to their challenges with persuasive proposals.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape and our product suite, positioning our solutions advantageously.
  • Actively engage with prospects through both outbound and inbound communications to identify new opportunities and cultivate high-quality leads through use of the CRM.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, relaying valuable feedback to the product development team to inform future enhancements.


Goal:

The Sales Representative is tasked with driving revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the company's footprint in the financial software solutions market. This role centers on acquiring new clients, particularly within the alternative investment sector, and nurturing existing relationships for retention and upselling. The representative serves as both an advocate for the company's products and a strategic advisor to clients, using market insights to influence product development and maintain the company's competitive edge. Success is measured by sales performance, customer satisfaction, and the ability to align the product offerings with the evolving needs of a sophisticated clientele.

Required Education and Experience:

  •  5+ years of sales experience in financial services or software industries.
  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Skill in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
