Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong technical background and a sharp commercial sense to strengthen our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Product Owner, bridging business requirements and technical implementation for our web platforms. You’ll act as the key interface between customers, business stakeholders and the development team— driving the design and optimization of data-driven websites, APIs, and frontend/backend interactions. 

Key Responsibilities

Business & Requirements Analysis 

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to gather, structure, and prioritize business requirements. 

• Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams. 

• Analyze business needs to propose data-driven solutions and workflow optimizations. 

• Define and document process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases. 

Technical Coordination 

• Design and specify frontend/backend communications.

• Define API contracts, data models, and endpoints in collaboration with developers. 

• Structure and manage configuration files (YAML, JSON) for the dynamic rendering of data on websites. 
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to align data flows with frontend requirements. 

Communication & Stakeholder Management 

• Act as a liaison between business, technical teams, and clients to ensure alignment. 

• Lead workshops, technical discussions, and requirement grooming sessions with stakeholders. 

• Support customers in defining and refining their requirements for complex workflows and digital products. 

Process Improvement 

• Identify opportunities for process automation, configuration improvements, and platform scalability. 

• Support the Product Owner in roadmap planning and feature prioritization based on business value and technical feasibility. 

• Stay updated on web technologies, data management best practices, and regulatory requirements for financial products. 

Qualifications 

• Proven experience of 3 plus years as a Business Analyst in web platform projects.

• Understanding of frontend/backend architectures and data-driven websites. 

• Strong analytical skills combined with commercial acumen. 

• Experience working in Agile teams and with Product Owners. 

• Excellent communication skills in German and English. 

• Structured, detail-oriented, and a team player.
