Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) role is crucial in connecting IT capabilities with business objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting and ensuring the successful completion of tasks related to the analysis, development, testing, and deployment of software features.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Recommendations:

• Analyze the organization's needs, business models, workflows, and technological systems.
• Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance business efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to implement changes that increase overall effectiveness and productivity.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with both technical and non-technical team members, as well as clients, to understand their needs and requirements.
• Ensure that project plans are created and processes are defined to meet organizational goals.
• Communicate effectively to ensure that stakeholders are informed and aligned with project objectives.

Project Oversight and Accountability:

• Take responsibility for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned projects.
• Exercise independent judgment and lead enterprise-level projects with minimal supervision.
• Arrange and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, scheduling, and demo sessions.
• Use strong consensus-building skills to ensure quick and effective adaptation to changes.

This role requires a combination of analytical skills, leadership, and deep knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving technical projects that improve business efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

• Proven experience in identifying requirements and testing.
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions, and experience in data visualisation techniques and tools.
• Experience in writing SQL queries is desired but not essential.
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into well-described User Stories.
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
• Define reporting and alerting requirements.
• Experience working in Agile projects using project managing tools like TFS, Jira, etc.
