As a Business Analyst working in our office in Cluj, you will be part of a team responsible for assuring the best quality and customer experience for the Garmin Services and Subscription flows that millions of Garmin customers use. Our software is responsible for the whole Subscription and Services ecosystem that each Garmin product is using, across all Garmin segments: Fitness, Marine, Aviation, Automotive, Outdoor.

We are looking forward to meet a Business Analyst, who is willing to contribute in an end to end product development environment, from a Service and Subscription standpoint.

From this role you will:

  • Lead requirement discovery sessions with product owners and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze and document business requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with project objectives.
  • Deliver predictable and routine communication to project stakeholders and team members to foster transparency and trust across the business.
  • Lead stakeholder management discussion to ensure alignment, get buy-in or consensus. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for supported applications and software features, providing in-depth product knowledge of business functionality, process flows, and user expectations to project stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration with other teams and departments.

Requirements
  • Proven experience managing user, functional and technical requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity for products across their strategic channel
  • Must demonstrate advanced understanding of business analysis principles/methodologies and possesses the ability to adapt practices to meet business climate and needs
  • Able to identify and contribute to the resolution of both basic and ancillary discrepancies and conflicts in application(s) requirements
  • Able to work closely with project team, including multiple stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with long-term business objectives as well as project objectives
  • Able to demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of engineering and project management tools
  • Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
  • Experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
  • Demonstrated facilitation and leadership in the execution of product/concept development plans
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of competency
  • Consistent demonstration of quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, or another relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience

Nice to have:

  • General knowledge and/or awareness of the following concepts: SQL Databases, client-server requests, HTTP Methods, APIs
  • Experience with web/mobile based projects
