About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in the Sports domain to drive end-to-end business analysis initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in leading requirement discussions, influencing stakeholders, and delivering high-impact solutions across sports analytics, fan engagement platforms, and digital ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for sports-related technology initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business goals, product roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Translate business objectives into detailed user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, wireframes, and process models.
  • Perform detailed data analysis and trend evaluation to support strategic decisions.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance standards, data governance, and sports regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, UI/UX, data engineering) to ensure successful delivery.
  • Stay updated on sports technology trends including analytics platforms, performance tracking tools, and fan engagement solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in the Sports, Media, or Entertainment domain.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management, requirement elicitation, and solution design.
  • Solid understanding of sports data platforms, CRMs, ticketing systems, broadcast integrations, or analytics dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of API integrations and data-driven systems.
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to IoT-based sports tracking systems or AI-based performance analytics.
  • Experience working with sports federations, clubs, leagues, or broadcasters.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, or Certified Product Owner.
Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
