Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst leads requirements and analysis for delivery. You will elicit and document complex requirements, translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and guide teams and junior analysts, leveraging AI-assisted analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements
- Translate business and regulatory needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners
- Model business processes, data flows, and workflow requirements
- Mentor junior analysts and review requirements artifacts
- Support UAT planning, test scenarios, and deliverable acceptance
- Leverage AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis and documentation

Requirements
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
- Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
- Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
- Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
- Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of business analysis experience on IT programs
- Strong requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation skills
- Experience with Agile delivery and backlog management
- Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Federal IT or financial-regulatory experience
- CBAP or Agile Analysis certification
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tooling
Skills Required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must work a hybrid schedule three to four days per week in Reston, Virginia, and at Washington, D.C.-area client locations as required
- Ability to pass a seven-year background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and self-start
- Adaptability and flexibility as priorities shift
- Openness to collaboration, feedback, and client requests
- Seven or more years of business analysis experience on IT programs
