Job Description:

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly technical, results-driven Senior Business Analyst to join the Performance Intelligence & Reporting team within the Advice Centre.

This role will own the design and evolution of scalable reporting and analytics solutions, combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to drive performance visibility and decision-making. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our Power BI–led reporting strategy, data standardization, and automation agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize end-to-end Power BI solutions, including optimization of structured datasets and data pipelines to support reliable, high-performance reporting

  • Own the development of scalable, governed reporting frameworks that enable consistent, enterprise-wide performance insights

  • Lead the modernization of reporting processes, transitioning from manual/static outputs to automated, self-serve solutions

  • Ensure data integrity, validation, and alignment across reporting outputs and source systems

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready narratives that inform decision-making

  • Partner cross-functionally with business and technology teams to centralize data, streamline pipelines, and enable scalable solutions

  • Manage multiple priorities across BAU and strategic initiatives, delivering with accuracy, efficiency, and sound judgment

Technical Requirements (Core to Role)

  • Advanced hands-on expertise in Power BI (mandatory)

    • Data modeling (relationships, star schema design)

    • DAX calculations and performance optimization

    • Design and management of scalable datasets, workspace structures, and reporting solutions

  • Strong experience with data transformation and querying tools (e.g., Power Query, SQL)

  • Proven ability to design and implement automated, scalable reporting solutions

  • Experience working with large, complex, multi-source datasets

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for advanced analysis and executive communication (MS Certification preferred).

Leadership & Analytical Capabilities

  • Ability to move beyond “what happened” to "why it matters” and “what to do next”

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to structure and interpret complex data into insights

  • Confident communicator who can engage and influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or performance intelligence (Banking or Insurance preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards and reporting ecosystems at scale

  • Experience supporting performance reporting, scorecards, or operational insights is an asset
