Doran Jones is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a highly skilled team of SDLC professionals and help with the delivery of projects for a multi-national financial services firm.
You will be working on a project that is an ongoing redesign of the Operational Risk Management application.

Responsibilities
- Lead/participate in assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
- Develop and foster collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals with QA and other colleagues in the organization.
- Interact with the customer to analyze their need and find solutions
- Be the point person for all stakeholders (customer, technical team, and PO) to make sure stories are well understood so everyone is on the 'same page'.
- Groom backlog and perform other maintenance tasks that are standard to the BAs role within an Agile team.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience working in the financial services domain.
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance with a focus on Operational Risk.
- Solid understanding of RCSA process.
- Working knowledge of SDLC, especially as it relates to improving agile delivery metrics.
- Understanding of Agile Software Development practices and how to leverage these to streamline project execution.
- Ability to deconstruct business requirements into User Stories.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Experience
- Consulting experience.
- Scrum Master experience.
- Knowledge of Oracle, including writing queries, leveraging BI Tools, and data validation techniques.
