The priority is strong business understanding and the ability to listen to stakeholders, clarify their needs, and translate requests into practical solutions.
You’ll balance project delivery with day-to-day application support in a lean team that values ownership, flexibility, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document requirements, assess workflows, and recommend system and process improvements.
- Partner with Front Office, Back Office, Risk, developers, and vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve application, integration, and data issues.
- Support the Endur implementation alongside ongoing business needs across existing applications.
- Develop test scenarios, coordinate UAT, track defects, and validate business outcomes.
- Help prioritize competing requests and maintain clear documentation, stakeholder updates, and change-management and SOX evidence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related enterprise application roles.
- Strong understanding of the energy trade lifecycle, including trade capture, valuation, confirmations, settlements, accounting, and risk reporting.
- Experience supporting ETRM/CTRM applications; familiarity with Endur/Openlink, Aligne, PowerOptix, or cQuant is valuable.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- An adaptable, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership beyond a narrowly defined remit.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Experience with bid-to-bill workflows, Azure DevOps (ADO), and application integrations. Techno-functional expertise is a plus; business analysis and energy domain knowledge are the priorities.
