Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and refine complex business and data requirements
- Translate requirements into clear documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process/data flows
- Support validation activities and ensure requirements traceability across the delivery lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and walkthrough meetings with cross-functional teams
- Identify dependencies, impacts, and gaps across processes, systems, and data flows
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, mappings, and structured documentation for the Data Team
- Contribute to documentation standards and requirements management best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and support knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years in data-focused or analytics environments
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Experience with business process and data modeling (BPMN, UML, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with Data Engineers, Analysts, PMs, and Product Owners
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and BA/process modeling tools
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience writing SQL queries for data validation or analysis
- Practical experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience working with cloud data environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Background in consulting, finance, insurance, or related industries
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.)
- Experience supporting data governance or master data initiatives
