Position Overview

 

The Senior Brand Strategist will play a substantive role on brand assignments and new business opportunities, while collaborating with a more senior planner. They will be a primary contact with internal teams during the development of strategic/communications oriented work and gain heavy client exposure. Specifically, the associate will be responsible for:


  • Developing in-depth market, customer and competitive analyses
  • Identifying key questions, issues/opportunities and insight areas
  • Assist in developing POVs on brand and category dynamics
  • Serve as the internal team “expert” for planning and developing strategy and communications
  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of strategic client engagements


The ideal Senior Brand Strategist has 4-5 years of related strategic experience, either in an agency or at research/consulting firm. They will exhibit analytic and organization skills, able to discern and capture important ideas. They are not afraid to take on new tasks/deliverables and exhibit strong problem-solving skills in all that they do. They have a developing sense of the right questions to ask and when to ask them. They are developing a sense of strategic possibilities and decision making. They communicate effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing. They are aware of their strengths and areas for growth and bring a desire to grow their overall strategic planning skill set.

 

Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000


The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB.   Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
