The Role You Could Play
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially astute Senior Brand Manager – New Brands to join our dynamic Brands & Buying team at MECCA. This pivotal role is responsible for building relationships with priority new brands that align with MECCA’s strategic goals, negotiating distribution agreements, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience across the business.
This is a 12-month parental leave contract, offering a rare opportunity to contribute to one of the most critical functions in the business—bringing the world’s most exciting new beauty brands into MECCA’s portfolio.
You’ll work closely with our Chief Brands and Buying Officer, Heads of Category, and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Digital, and Retail to deliver win-win brand partnerships and exceptional launch experiences.
In this role, you will:
Lead commercial negotiations with new brands to secure distribution agreements in line with MECCA’s strategic objectives.
Build and maintain a new brands pipeline, tracking performance and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate onboarding and go-to-market launches with internal teams to ensure flawless execution.
Act as a key ambassador for new brands, ensuring a positive first experience and long-term success.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Merchandise to achieve strong commercial outcomes and compliance.

Proven experience in brand management, buying, or commercial negotiation within retail, beauty, or FMCG.
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on outcomes.
A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities.
A passion for beauty and identifying “the next big thing” in the category.
