Are you a billing professional who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and ownership to the invoicing process? Do you like being the go-to person for billing-related questions and helping colleagues work more efficiently? Then you might be the Senior Billing Officer we're looking for at QbD Group.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth and accurate billing operations across our international organisation and lead three billing professionals in an environment where no two days look the same. You'll combine hands-on invoice processing with process coordination and act as a trusted partner for project managers, consultants and finance colleagues.
🏢 What you'll be doingBilling & Revenue OperationsFull-cycle processing of customer invoices in NetSuite, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
Ensure on-time billing and revenue recognition in line with Group policies
Set up projects in NetSuite to enable correct time registration as the basis for invoicing
Coordinate all outgoing invoices and ensure alignment with contractual terms
Reconcile revenue accounts and manage billing corrections in close collaboration with Cash Collectors
Act as Product Owner of the O2C process: log and follow up on system bugs, propose new features and change requests in the ERP (Netsuite)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (project managers, sales, consultants) to ensure alignment between invoicing and project management
Continuously evaluate and enhance the O2C flow — identifying opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency gains
Guide consultants through the billing process to ensure proper invoicing and revenue recognition
Lead the O2C integration of newly acquired companies joining QbD Group
Ensure qualitative technical integration in NetSuite, keeping track of the needs of all parties
Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders to ensure efficient cross-border transaction flows
Take a leading role in the implementation of new processes, tools, and best practices
Participate actively in Finance Improvement projects
Lead, coach, and develop your team
Act as first point of contact for finance & admin colleagues on billing process questions
Train and guide colleagues to continuously raise the quality of billing operations across the Group
Report to the Finance & Accounting Manager, keeping them well-informed of daily operations and process developments
3 to 7 years of experience in billing, finance administration or Order-to-Cash processes
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar is a plus
Strong affinity with invoicing, financial administration and process optimisation
Experience within a project-based, consulting or professional services environment is a plus
Advanced Excel skills are considered an asset
Accurate, organised and detail-oriented

Skills Required
- 3 to 7 years of experience in billing, finance administration or Order-to-Cash processes
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
- Strong affinity with invoicing, financial administration and process optimisation
- Experience within a project-based, consulting or professional services environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Team leadership and coaching experience (leading billing or finance professionals)
- O2C product ownership or ERP change management experience (logging bugs, proposing features)
