Our team is looking for a Senior BI Specialist who can​​ collect, analyze data, identify trends, and provide executive management with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational, and business practices.

We offer a wide range of interesting tasks in the fast-growing e-commerce, search & recommendations industry and the ability to work with the latest tools, including Elastic Search & Tableau.
 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic BI support
    • Transform datasets and quantitative analysis into compelling visuals.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and standard reports.
    • Ad-hoc reporting as required.
    • Work together as a BI department to improve strategy, benchmarking, and BI literacy
    • Be the voice of data in operational meetings and discussions
  • Provide guidance and Knowledge transfer to business and technical team members
    • Gather and visualize data from multiple data sources 
    • Define and manage analytics tracking and attribution
    • Carry out complex analysis of datasets and conduct appropriate data validation
    • Facilitate the computerization of analytics and BI self-service
    • Define and deliver metrics, reports, real-time conversion analysis dashboards, and analytic models to inform strategic decisions
    • Create and maintain wiki-style documentation
    • Train individuals across the organization to use data and BI tools in their roles
  • Empower the business with actionable insights
    • Help to inspire and foster a culture of insights
    • Create/Implement end-to-end product monitoring to increase visibility on customer behavior, A/B test new features and conduct funnel analysis
    • Perform raw data analysis and deliver key insights
    • Present and communicate your findings using data visualization tools
  • Monitor and report on features
    • The monitor features post-launch to enable continuous improvement
    • Prepare and present follow-up reports on features post-launch
  • Explore customers' needs
    • Perform market research and potential project growth
    • Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Help to define our Personas

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting;
  • Experience with Tableau (Tableau portfolio or examples of dashboards are a good advantage) 
  • Coding proficiency in Python;
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and popular data science packages (pandas, numpy, plotly, seaborn, sklearn, etc); 
  • Knowledge of SQL;
  • 3+ years of industry experience in an analytics role;
  • Strong analytical & creative thinking skills and the ability to clearly articulate approach, process, and results in verbal, graphical, and written form
  • Experience in a similar position in e-commerce projects
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
