Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr. BI Developer to oversee the development and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of BI specialists, ensuring effective use of data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise will help align BI initiatives with business objectives while fostering innovation and growth within the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts and developers.
• Ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. Strategic Planning and Execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
• Oversee the design and delivery of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support key decision-making processes.
Technical Expertise
• Contribute in the design, implementation, and maintenance of BI tools, systems, and processes.
• Supervise the development of data models , self service reporting, ask the data and Dashboards
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of BI systems. Documentation and Standards
• Establish and maintain documentation for BI systems, processes, and workflows.
• Define and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and quality. Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary liaison between the BI team and other departments, ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables. • Present insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner.
Qualifications and Skills
Technical Skills
• Extensive experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker) and data visualization platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling .
• Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and big data technologies.Leadership Skills
• Proven experience managing and leading BI teams.
• Strong management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.Other Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
