What we need

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Benefits team within our Human Resources organization. You will be responsible for administering, analyzing, and continuously improving employee benefit programs while helping ensure accurate operations, regulatory compliance, and positive employee experience. This role will partner closely with HR Operations, benefit vendors, brokers, and external consultants. You will use data and reporting to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, recommend enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


What we do

The Benefits team administers employee programs covering health and welfare, retirement, wellness, disability, and leaves. The team supports employees throughout enrollment and qualifying life events, manages vendor relationships and benefit transactions, maintains plan materials, supports compliance activities, and uses reporting to improve program administration and the employee experience.


What you'll do

  • Administer day-to-day operations for U.S. and global benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, wellness, and leave programs.
  • Manage enrollment, eligibility, qualifying life events, benefit transactions, and vendor file transmissions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee, system, and vendor issues.
  • Analyze benefit utilization and program effectiveness, and support budgeting, forecasting, renewals, and process-improvement activities.
  • Serve as an operational contact for benefit vendors, third-party administrators, brokers, and consultants.
  • Support regulatory compliance, testing, audits, filings, reporting requirements, and the maintenance of accurate plan documentation.
  • Lead open enrollment planning, testing, communications, and employee education, while partnering with HRIS, Payroll, and vendors on system enhancements.

What you'll need


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience administering employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, disability, or leave programs.
  • Working knowledge of applicable benefit regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and Section 125.
  • Strong Excel, data analysis, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, benefits administration systems, benefit vendors, and third-party administrators.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Hybrid role based in Wilmington, MA. (3 days a week)

Our environment

  • Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to company locations.
  • Employees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines. Eligible employees may receive a corporate credit card based on role and travel requirements, but a personal credit card may be needed during onboarding until the corporate card is issued.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $101,000.00 - $138,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
