Huntington Hospital Employee LoginExpectations:
Under general supervision, administers different kinds of benefits and retirement programs offered by the Hospital. Consults with and advises employees on issues such as, eligibility for insurance, hospitalization, and other benefits, amounts of coverage, claims procedures etc. Maintains benefits records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefits coverage. May analyze, audit and assist in the development of policies and benefits plans by maintaining an ongoing effort to determine and maintain equity with current benefit trends and legislated requirements and programs.May require flexibility of hours.
EDUCATION:
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
5+ years of benefits related experience preferred
General Human Resources experience is a plus.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Preferred:
Current Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation
SKILLS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent required.
Kronos HRIS knowledge/experience preferred.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $78,790.40 - $118,164.80.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
