Senior Backend Software Engineer (Go)

If you want to:

• Design and implement the control plane services in Go that manage workloads across a large fleet;
• Build APIs for configuration distribution, rollout coordination, and health tracking;
• Integrate with identity systems (OIDC, mTLS, token services) for secure bootstrap and operations;
• Work closely with other engineers to ensure smooth rollout waves, canary deployments, and automated recovery;
• Contribute to observability: exposing service metrics, building dashboards, setting up alerts;
• Participate in code reviews, system design, and long-term architecture planning.

And you can check off:

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems (control planes, schedulers, config management, etc.);
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards (OIDC, OAuth2, JWT, mTLS);
• Experience building APIs and working with manifest-driven or declarative configuration systems;
• Solid understanding of monitoring, metrics, and health-based rollouts;
• Strong understanding of Linux system internals, including namespaces, cgroups, networking stack, KVM, and kernel fundamentals;
• Hands-on experience debugging, tuning, and operating Linux-based production systems at scale.

Bonus points if you:

• Have had exposure to Kubernetes-style reconciliation loops, service mesh, or large-scale rollout systems.
