What you’ll do
As Senior Backend QA Engineer you'll craft and enhance automated tests based on business requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Analyze business requirements and create new automated tests for it
- Maintain and regularly update existing automated tests
- Be responsible for all aspects of the test framework development including design, coding, testing, and debugging
- Communicate effectively with peers to highlight and clarify design requirements.
What you’ll need
- 5+ years of experience in Python (Shell) scripting in Linux
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as pytest
- Knowledge of IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols is a must
- Experience with testing microservices and container technologies is desirable
- Ability to write and run automated tests in CI/CD environments using GIT and Jenkins is a must
- Adept in designing and writing high-quality code and maintaining good documentation for processes, tools, frameworks and software
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills
- Previous exposure to load and performance testing is a plus
- Experience testing large scale distributed systems is a plus
- Domain knowledge in testing VPN applications is a plus
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Proven problem-solving skills and keen eye for details
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
