A fast-growing fintech AI start up company, focused on eliminating fraud and chargebacks in online commerce, is looking for Senior Backend Engineer to join her core product team.
In this roll, you will build innovative, high-impact solutions that fight fraud and protect their customers revenue.
The company is located in Modi'in, central Israel. Hybrid work model.
Responsibilities:
- Take a senior role in a talented engineering team and help build our market-leading product.
- Design and implement core backend infrastructure: ingestion, algorithms, performance, and interactive services.
- Build a scalable data platform for complex, high-volume data flows.
- Own features end-to-end — design, build, deploy, measure, and maintain.
- Work closely with Product on a top-tier SaaS PLG offering.
- Help shape a high-standards, fun, professional engineering culture.
- 7+ years backend development (TypeScript, Node.js) – Must
- Experience with event-driven microservices and FaaS – Must
- Strong background with AWS serverless (API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFormation, SAM, EventBridge) – Must
- Experience with both NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational DBs – Must
- Proven ability to build infrastructure, select tools, and drive best practices
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
