That's why we're looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help us build the future of social media. With your skills and expertise, you'll be an integral part of our team as we continue revolutionizing how people connect and engage on social media.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power the Sendit platform.
• Architect and implement new features for our portfolio of applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build our data platform.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in a startup environment.
• • 5+ years experience as a backend engineer shipping multiple large-scale products.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer, preferably in the social media, messaging, or mobile app space.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Proven track record building REST/JSON API.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves:

• Backend experience with TypeScript.
• Experience integrating services with data and analytics pipelines.
• Experience building products while the platform is being built.
• Interest in Graph databases and AI.
