Job Description

• ​​​​​Design and write code using Java and Scala 

• Improve the Authentication and Authorization experience for Wix employees 

• Increase developer productivity by improving internal frameworks 

• Solve hard problems in a simple way using TDD and clean code

• Make an impact on how Wix applications use our Identity platform more efficiently from a development perspective

• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to find the best solutions

• Lead and deliver projects end to end

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of experience with server-side JVM technologies (Java, Scala, or other)

2. Experience in software design, coding, and production 

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

4. You understand and can write multithreaded code, specifically for a web server's request lifecycle

5. Some experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)

6. Able to conduct performance analysis for a system and find its bottlenecks

7. Experience speaking in developer meetups, conferences or writing about software engineering - an advantage
