We’ve raised $8M in seed funding from top-tier investors including Mayfield, Jackson Square Ventures, Lemniscap, Shakti, and Aperiam. As an early-stage startup, we’re seeking partners who bring both technical prowess and the self-starter spirit to help define Scrollmark’s trajectory. You’ll report directly to our CTO and collaborate closely with other engineering leaders, but ultimately drive projects with minimal oversight—your work here will leave a lasting impact.
What You’ll Do
Build Next-Generation Social AI Products: Architect and develop products that empower social marketers to interact with and leverage AI models for images and video, staying on the cutting edge of research.
Optimize for Social Data: Design and implement backend systems capable of processing large volumes of data swiftly and efficiently, using robust data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, product managers, and engineers—to prototype and roll out new features that drive measurable results.
Scale & Deploy: Research, experiment with, and productionize state-of-the-art architectures to support large-scale user bases and high-volume data processing across multiple platforms.
Strategize & Execute: Contribute to the overall product roadmap, champion best practices, and help shape Scrollmark’s future in generative imagery and video.
What We’re Looking For
5+ Years of Experience in Early-Stage Environments: At least 5 years of professional experience (2019 graduate or earlier) with a proven track record of building innovative products in startup settings.
Expertise in Django: Demonstrated experience developing robust Django APIs as part of a collaborative engineering team.
Product & System Design Experience: Ability to translate customer needs into scalable, user-friendly products through thoughtful system design.
Social Media Expertise: Experience developing or integrating AI solutions for social platforms is a significant plus.
Self-Starter Attitude: Comfortable taking initiative and independently driving projects from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.
