We seek a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to drive our infrastructure initiatives. This role involves working closely with DevOps and development teams to enhance velocity and ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performance backend solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build a high-scale backend infrastructure capable of serving millions of users.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
- Lead end-to-end solutions, from requirements gathering to production deployment, focusing on reducing time-to-market.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
- Integrating AI-driven tools, frameworks, and services to enhance developer productivity, optimize workflows, and unlock new product capabilities.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize processes, enhance system reliability, and improve developer velocity.
- Work with a tech stack that includes AWS, Kubernetes, Node.js, TypeScript, Redis, and MySQL.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience in introducing new backend technologies and code infrastructure with wide impact on developers.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS and K8s
- Proficiency in a major backend language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
