The Senior Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions, contributing to the enhancement of backend systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and security.

1. Backend System Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and its frameworks.

2. Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

3. API Design & Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems.

4. Third-Party Integration: Integrate backend services with external APIs, third-party systems, and databases.

5. Database Design & Optimization: Design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.

6. SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries and utilize database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

7. Data Models & Migrations: Implement data models and perform database migrations as required.

8. Development Life-Cycle: Contribute to all phases of the development life-cycle.

9. Code Efficiency & Testing: Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.

10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product owners to deliver integrated solutions.

11. Continuous Improvement: Investigate alternatives and technologies, presenting these for architectural review.

12. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Java backend development.

13. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure system stability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.

• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code optimization, testing, and debugging.

• Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring, J2EE, and Spring Boot.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

1. Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Java SE.

2. Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, NoSQL).

3. API Development: Extensive experience in designing and developing APIs using RESTful or GraphQL principles.

4. DevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Docker.

5. Software Design Patterns: Expertise in Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

6. Additional Skills: Experience with Node.js and Nest.js is a plus.
