Senior Backend Developer | DevOps

As a Backend Developer on the Core team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. You will use your deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to create robust and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices within the team. 

Momo Medical is a fast-growing and ambitious scale-up in Delft that focuses on one of society's biggest challenges: the future of (elderly) care. In the next 10 years, the demand for care will double, while 30% of the current workforce will retire. 🎉 Our software stack consists of: 

Node.js, TypeScript, and working with the AWS cloud environment.

You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript to ensure the Momo App is provided with notifications and real-time data from various sensors. 

• Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to build maintainable and scalable architectures.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

• Work with cloud environments, preferably AWS, to deploy and manage applications.

You are enthusiastic and driven to make a difference for caregivers. You also have proven experience (+7 years) in Node.js, strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strengths: Fast paced, proactive, curious. 

• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.

• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.

• Salary range: Senior Backend Developer gross €5200 - 6200 (based on 40 hours), depending on relevant work experience (+7 years) and qualifications, plus 8% holiday allowance.
