At Prime Security, we are pioneering the integration of AI and cybersecurity to empower product security teams. As a Senior Back End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing the core backend systems that power our advanced AI-driven security tools. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that our platforms are scalable, secure, and efficient, enabling our AI engines to process vast amounts of data, assess risks, and deliver actionable insights.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems to support Prime Security's AI-driven security tools
- Collaborate with the AI, front-end, and product teams to integrate backend services with AI models and data processing pipelines
- Optimize the performance and reliability of backend services, ensuring low latency and high availability
- Implement and manage APIs that facilitate seamless integration with external systems and internal components
- Ensure that backend architecture adheres to security best practices, safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining compliance with industry standards
- Monitor, debug, and resolve any issues in the production environment to maintain system health and uptime
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on building scalable and high-performance systems
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong experience working with AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in designing and working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, with an emphasis on securing backend systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a cyber security company is an advantage
