Senior Back-End Developer (PHP)

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer (PHP) to contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of a backend system. 

Role is based in Warsaw, Poland (relocation support provided).

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of new features within an existing PHP-based project using Symfony.
• Refactor and modernize legacy modules to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges.
• Ensure efficient use of caching and messaging systems, including Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL to design and optimize queries.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high development standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Symfony, with at least 2 years of focused experience.
• Solid understanding of Redis and RabbitMQ in a distributed system architecture.
• Practical experience working with both MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Previous experience with Swoole is considered a plus.
• Language proficiency – at least Intermediate level of English (B1), at least Upper-intermediate level of Ukrainian or Russian.
