Responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. Owns the end-to-end setup of the application hosting infrastructure from scratch and ensures its stable, secure, and cost-efficient operation long-term. Works closely with development and operations teams to ensure reliable and automated delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design infrastructure hosting, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)
- Automate deployment processes in Azure environments
- Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
- Configure and support Azure services (App Services, AKS, VMs, Storage, Networking)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
- Work with containers (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes / AKS, if applicable)
- Manage security, access, and secrets (Azure AD, Key Vault)
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and cloud costs
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience with CI/CD practices and tools
- Understanding of cloud architecture and networking concepts
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Linux (and/or Windows) administration skills
- Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python – at least one)
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and SDLC
Nice to have:
- Experience with AKS and Kubernetes
- Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-104)
- SRE or production support experience
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Experience with cost optimization in Azure
