What Are You Going to Do?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Azure Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on engineering experience, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive cloud adoption and innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud environments on Microsoft Azure, optional AWS environment
- Implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
- Ensure security, scalability, and monitoring across the Azure landscape
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud-based solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure
What Do We Expect?
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Solid knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Storage Accounts, Resource Manager, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and Python
- Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization
- Experience from Active Directory (Cloud and on-prem) or experience from designing, deploying and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop environment (both will do as well)
- Experience with Windows Servers
- Professional experience from Azure Infra (IaaS and PaaS services)
- Hands-on experience with building Infrastructure-as-Code (such as Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines, Azure Policy, Github actions.
- Professional experience from Network & VPN in hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments.
- Professional experience from Security in cloud and hybrid environments
- Professional experience from Migrations, Landing zones or both
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
