Responsible for the overall mechanical design and technical solution development of automation equipment. Lead the design, development, technical review, and implementation of complex automation projects to enhance automation capability, production efficiency, and product quality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the overall mechanical design of automation equipment (e.g., conveying, assembly, inspection, packaging).

  • Be responsible for the full process from requirement analysis to solution design, detailed design, and final delivery.

  • Complete 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and BOM output.

  • Responsible for complex mechanism design (precision positioning, flexible gripping, high-speed transmission, etc.).

  • Lead the resolution of key technical challenges such as accuracy, cycle time, stability, and reliability.

  • Develop automation solutions to support new product introduction.

  • Participate in capacity evaluation, cost analysis, and ROI assessment.

  • Lead design reviews, manufacturing follow-up, and on-site commissioning.

  • Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with performance and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with process, production, quality, and maintenance teams.

  • Drive successful implementation of automation projects.

  • Analyze on-site equipment issues and implement continuous improvements.

  • Improve efficiency, yield, and stability.

  • Develop design standards, technical documentation, and modular solutions.

  • Promote standardization and modularization.

  • Support integration of automation equipment with MES and data systems.

  • Participate in smart manufacturing and automation upgrade initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience in non-standard automation mechanical design.

  • Hands-on experience in full-cycle automation project implementation.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.

  • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design tools.

  • Familiar with mechanical design, pneumatics, and servo systems.

  • Ability to independently design complex equipment.

  • Strong system-level solution capability (not only component design).

  • Cost-conscious with DFM/DFA experience.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
